現地時間2026年1月19日（月）、午前10時ごろに起きた。夕方、弓道の練習をした。
午後、以前住んでいた家を訪れた。そこの家主と会って、その家に再び住まわせてほしいとお願いするためだ。ありがたいことに、その家主は私の申し出を受け入れてくれた。
もともと私は引っ越しをするつもりはなかったが、昨日になって事情が変わった。現在の家主が、「3月からは住めなくなる」と告げてきた。どういった事情があるかは述べないが、私の責任でないことだけは確かだ。
現在の住居をめぐって不測の事態に直面するのは、今回が初めてではない。今月から家賃が700カナダドルから900カナダドルに値上がりした。この事態についても、私に責任はない。
On Monday, January 19th, 2026, I got up around 10:30 a.m. PST and practiced Japanese archery in the evening.
In the afternoon, I visited a house where I used to live and met my former landlord. The purpose of the visit was to ask her whether I could move into her house again. Thankfully, she accepted my request.
Initially, I had not been willing to change my residence, but the situation changed suddenly yesterday. My current landlord told me that I would not be able to live in my current house after the beginning of March. I will not go into the reason why he is forcing me to move to a new place, but it is not my fault at all.
This is not the first time I have faced an unexpected housing issue. Starting this month, the rent increased from 700 CAD to 900 CAD, which is also not my responsibility.
