現地時間2026年2月5日（木）、午前5時ごろに起きた。昼、アイススケートの練習をした。
家では、五輪のカーリングの試合を観た。カーリングを含めいくつかの競技では、大会の開会式よりも先に、試合が始まっている。
カーリングを観るに当たって私が利用したのは、CBCの配信。五輪を無料で楽しめることが分かり、一安心だ。
五輪に伴い、北米のプロアイスホッケーリーグはしばらく中断期間に入る。私はこれから数週間、五輪に集中することになりそうだ。
On Thursday, February 5th, 2026, I got up around 5:00 p.m. PST and practiced ice skating around noon.
At home, I watched a curling game from the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026. Although the opening ceremony for the Games has not taken place yet, some events, including curling, have already begun.
While I usually watch ice hockey games through a sports channel’s streaming service, I used a different platform today—CBC’s—to watch the curling match. I was relieved to learn that I could enjoy the Winter Olympics for free via the Internet.
On the other hand, the NHL is going to take a break for the Olympics after today’s games. It will be a couple of weeks for me to focus on the Olympic competition instead of the hockey league.
