現地時間2026年2月6日（金）、13時ごろに起きた。午後、近所を散歩した。
夕方、暗くなった町を歩いていたところ、1匹の動物に遭遇した。その動物は歩道を横切り、民家の庭へ入って行った。アライグマのように見えたものの、正体は定かではない。
公園では、小鳥を目撃することができた。その鳥は針葉樹の幹の上を動き回っていた。写真を見返してみると、鋭く曲がったくちばしを持っていることが分かる。
アメリカキバシリという鳥だそうだ。胸と腹は白い。背中は茶色がかった色で、樹皮の模様によく似ていた。
On Friday, February 6th, 2026, I got up around 1:00 p.m. PST and went out in the afternoon to walk around my neighborhood.
When the town became dark in the evening, I saw an animal crossing the sidewalk and heading into a house’s garden. It seemed to be a raccoon, though I’m not sure whether it was a raccoon or a cat.
At a park, I came across a tiny bird moving around on the bark of a conifer tree. The picture of the bird shows that it has a sharp, curved bill.
It is called a Brown Creeper. While its chest and belly were white, its back was brownish with white patterns, which were similar to the texture of tree bark.
