現地時間2026年2月9日（月）、午前3時ごろに起きた。夕方、弓道の練習をした。
家で、冬季五輪の女子アイスホッケーの試合を観た。日本対イタリアの一戦だ。日本にとって準々決勝進出をかけた重要な一戦だったが、2対3で敗れてしまった。何度か得点のチャンスを作ったものの、イタリアが粘り強くかつ効果的に守っていた印象だ。
日本代表のなかで印象に残ったのは、浮田留依選手だ。力強いシュートを時折放ち、そのうちの1本が先制点となった。
私のお気に入りである志賀紅音選手もゴールを記録した。志賀選手は大会を通じてチームを牽引しており、その働きが今大会初ゴールという形で実を結んだ。
On Monday, February 9th, 2026, I got up around 3:00 a.m. PST and practiced Japanese archery in the evening.
At home, I watched a women’s ice hockey game from the Olympic Winter Games between Japan and Italy. Although it was an important match for Japan to advance to the quarterfinals of the tournament, they were defeated 3–2 by Italy. Japan created several scoring chances, but Italy’s defense worked hard and effectively.
As for the performances of the Japanese players, Rui Ukita stood out to me because she sometimes took powerful shots, and one of her shots resulted in Japan’s first goal of the game.
My favorite player on the Japanese national team, Akane Shiga, also recorded a goal, which closed the gap to one point. She has been leading her team throughout this tournament so far, and I was happy to see her efforts pay off in the form of her first goal of the competition.
